Savage Wines, led by renowned winemaker Duncan Savage, is a standout in the South African wine scene, known for crafting wines with purity, elegance, and minimal intervention. They source grapes from select high-altitude, maritime vineyards to capture the unique terroir of the region. The focus is on creating vibrant wines with freshness, precision, and balance, often using varieties like Cinsaut, Grenache, and Syrah.
Savage Wines' approach emphasises older vines, neutral oak, and natural methods to showcase the fruit's essence without overpowering it with heavy oak or manipulation.
